Ohio University Comes To A Calming Educated Place To An Outburst Attack

On November 28, 9:50 A.M, (18-year-old) Abdul Razak Artan, woke up in the morning and posted on Facebook that he was on twitter on how he has reached his "breaking point" and referred to "lone wolf attacks" from deceased Anwar al-Awlaki. He also posted, "America! Stop interfering with other countries, especially Muslim Ummah [community]. We are not weak. We are not weak, remember that,". Two hours later he said, "Forgive and forget. Love." That morning Abdul went to his school, Ohio State, and while in his car he ran over a a group people, said got out of the car, stabbed people who ran past by with a butcher knife he also bought that morning leaving 11 people inured in total.

After his actions at the university, six people were hit by the car and five had gotten stabbed. Then the police surrounded him and wanted him to put his weapons down. By Officer Alan Horujko (28 years old), Artan was killed after not listening to instructions on stopping. And putting the knife down. The university remained on lock down for an hour so students could be taken to a safe place for who didn't have time enough to go into a room to hide in.

Ohio policemen said it was too early to know what made up his mind to do this . But what they do know is that he actions couldn't have been an accident. According to The New York Times Article, it states, "Chief Craig Stone of the Ohio State University police said, "This was done on purpose," "To go over the curb and strike pedestrians and then get out and start striking with the knife--- that was on purpose."

Investigators has not found any evidence on if Artan's actions were connected to race beliefs from himself or a group. Also, they hadn't found any thing that could've shown if a terrorist group could be taken for responsibility of his actions while they put the information online for the public. Both the car-ramming and knife attacks were identified as signs of aggression from the Islamic State.

Things like this often happen almost every year. An attacker in Nice, France, used a delivery truck to hit dozens on citizens in July. Also in Würzburg, Germany a man and his Islamic state handler said that he was told to use a car to attack people just like what happened in Nice. The man didn't drive due to not having a driving permit, which drew him to attacking people with an axe.
